HAVERHILL - Theresa J. (Germinara) Wezesa, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2022 at Penacook Place in Haverhill.

Born in Georgetown, MA, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Tillie (Valentino) Germinara. Theresa was raised in Haverhill and attended local schools.

In her early 20's she worked in the shoe industry and eventually retired from AT&T in the late 80's. Theresa was known for her Sunday noontime Italian pasta dinners that she loved to cook for everyone. Theresa had a great sense of humor and loved spending her time with her family and friends.

Theresa is survived by her eldest son, John (Jack) F. Wezesa and his wife Stacia Srybny-Wezesa of Haverhill, daughter in-law Laurie Wezesa of Kingston, NH. Sisters Shirley Kidder of Haverhill and Frances Bayer of Florida. She leaves five grandchildren, Michael, Joshua, Jackson, Cole, and Ava, three great-grandchildren Madison, Benjamin, and Josselin Wezesa. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Theresa was predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years, John S. Wezesa, son Michael L. Wezesa, sisters Rosemary Barberio, Catherine Deveau, and brothers Angelo, Joseph, Thomas and Robert Germinara.
