HAVERHILL - Sondra L. Penta, passed peacefully at 3:05AM with many angels waiting around her with open arms.

Raised in Munhall, Pennsylvania, she is predeceased by both parents, William O. Wiechelt and Mary Powers Wiechelt.

Sondra was a CNA and Dietary Assistant for over 30 years at Nevin's Nursing Home, while also working at the VA Hospital and Anlaw Nursing Home in her earlier years. She was always well-liked by many and enjoyed life to its fullest.

She is survived by her husband, Mark N. Penta, of Haverhill, MA, who was originally from Wakefield, MA. Sister of Judy A. Kraycar of West Virginia, sister Susan R. Baum of Munhall, daughter Jennifer Owen and husband Daniel, of Derry, NH, daughter Tracy Carter of Merrimac, MA, son Eric Carter of Londonderry, NH, son Shawn Carter of Salisbury, MA and son Timothy Carter and wife, Vaughn of Chester, NH. Sondra also leaves seven grandchildren and great-grandchild whom she loved a lot.
