HAVERHILL- Sheila (Halloran) Perry, 81, of Haverhill, passed away on January 29, 2019, at the Prescott House in North Andover.
She was born in Haverhill on September 9, 1937, daughter of Russell and Catherine (Donovan) Halloran.
Sheila was raised in The Acre Section of Haverhill and later graduated from St. James High School, class of 1955. Following graduation, she worked at New England Telephone and Telegraph Company until her retirement. During retirement she worked at TD Bank.
She loved music, sing-alongs with family and friends and Sunday drives to the mountains. Sheila enjoyed nothing more than being a devoted grandmother to her four grandchildren.
Her surviving family members include her loving husband Robert Perry of Haverhill; devoted children Kristine McCarthy and husband Robert of Haverhill and Brian Perry of Fremont, NH; cherished grandchildren Ciara and Caite McCarthy and Aidan and Casey Perry; siblings Isabelle Tilton and husband Cliff of Salem, NH, Russell "Bud" Halloran and wife Sylvia of Beverly and John "Jack" Halloran and wife Patti of Haverhill; many nieces and nephews; her deceased family members include her sisters Gertrude Bryant and her husband Lee and Eileen Dewhurst and her husband Benjamin.
The Perry Family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the caring and compassionate staff and friends at Prescott House.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 4, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Haverhill from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Services will begin Tuesday in the funeral home at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Hearts Church, 165 So. Main Street, Haverhill at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
