Sharon Kathleen Ricci, age 77, passed away quietly on July 24, 2026. 

Born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, to Robert and Betty McGuire, Sharon was a beautiful soul with a radiant smile that effortlessly lit up any room. She was authentic, lived life strictly on her own terms, and leaves behind a legacy of boundless love, humor, and fierce loyalty.

The true love of Sharon’s life was her late husband, James "Jimmy" Ricci. Meeting at the tender age of 16, they fell deeply in love and built a beautiful life together in Haverhill. In their early years, Sharon was the driving force behind their business, Sharon Contracting Inc. While Jim drove the trucks and managed the crew, Sharon ran the books and ensured everything ran seamlessly. Through hard work and unwavering devotion, they celebrated the major milestone of securing their dream home on Westland Terrace—a true sanctuary that Sharon took immense joy in tending to, decorating, and transforming over the years. As Jim transitioned into a new career, Sharon pivoted to running a seamless household, always welcoming friends to gather and making sure a home-cooked dinner was on the table every single night at six o'clock.

As a young mother at 18, Sharon willingly chose to focus her boundless energy entirely on her family. Though she possessed an exceptional, Uncle Dean trained singing voice, a phenomenal talent for the piano, and a gift for writing novels, she intentionally devoted her creative spirit not to fame, but to ensuring her children, Edward and Christina, were endlessly loved and supported.

Sharon found ultimate peace in nature, the outdoors, and the comfort of her home. She cherished her childhood memories of the beach with her Sitto, Girto, and extended family, and valued lifelong friendships, including her first-grade best friend, Cheryl. Throughout her journey, Sharon faced pivotal emotional challenges head-on. She took no shortcuts, navigating life's hurdles with deep spiritual understanding and learning from her soul's journey—standing as a stellar example of a life lived at the highest order.

Sharon is survived by her loving children, Edward and Christina, and her brother, Bobbie McGuire of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She is reunited in peace with her beloved Jimmy. Sharon is now happy, in a better place—most certainly at the beach—and will remain forever in the hearts of those she touched.
