(D'Agata) Marino
October 11, 1942 – October 31, 2022
HAVERHILL - Rosalie A. (D'Agata) Marino, 80, longtime resident of Haverhill and Hutchinson Island, FL, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 31, 2022 in Florida.
She was born in Lawrence, MA and was the beloved daughter of the late Adeline (DeMarco) and John D'Agata. She was also predeceased by her brother John D'Agata.
She met the love of her life, Joseph, growing up as kids at Salisbury beach; where their families had cottages next to each other for years. They began dating as kids, and married in June of 1961 and spent 61 wonderful years together. They were the perfect match!
Rosalie attended Holy Rosary grammar school and graduated from St. Mary's high school in Lawrence, MA. She retired from the IRS and spent many years providing day care for some special people. She enjoyed reading, candy crush and walking. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Joe and family and friends. Some of her favorite trips were Italy, Las Vegas and several cruises; she also loved her Keno and casinos.
She was an AMAZING cook! The food she could make was better than any restaurant anywhere. She made the best Italian food and everyone looked forward to Christmas, when we got to have our Rice balls every year.
The most important thing in her life was family and friends. She was selfless, giving and simply Amazing.
Rosalie is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Joseph Marino; her loving daughter Karen (Marino) Green and her partner Daniel Mendonca; her loving grand daughter Lexi Green and her boyfriend Leo Begazo; a son and daughter in law Joseph and Maureen Marino; and extended family; Kristina and Michael Parisi and Kyle. She is also survived by her loving brothers and sisters in law, many nieces and nephews, cousins and close lifelong friends whom she loved dearly.
