HAVERHILL - Robert G. Martin of Leicester and formerly of Haverhill, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2023, with his family by his side. Robert was born on July 26, 1954, son of the late Richard and Grace Martin.

He was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1972. Robert was a licensed journeyman cabinet maker, licensed home inspector and was also a substance abuse/mental health counselor. He was an avid skier, skater, bicyclist, hiker, camper and enjoyed photography.

Robert is survived by his fiancé Debra Shonk; children Nathaniel Martin and Katie Martin; three grandchildren Samantha, Connor, and Benjamen; siblings Donna Reid, Bonnie Martin, Richard Martin, Thomas Martin and his wife Patricia, William Martin, Frederick Martin and his wife Jennifer; Bo-Bob to Ariana and Ayden and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his son Seth and brother John.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 14, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to  St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.st.jude.org . For guestbook, visit www.driscollcares.com
