LAWRENCE - Richard "Ric" A. Perron, Sr. , 65, of Lawrence passed away unexpectedly on August 5th, 2018 surrounded by his loved ones. Ric was born on June 21, 1950 in Lawrence, MA to the late Herbert C Perron and Evelyn C Proctor. Ric was a Veteran during the Vietnam era serving in the US Army. He greatly enjoyed playing his guitar for family and friends, riding his motor scooter and making jokes. He is survived by his only son Richard Jr, his brother Kenneth Perron and his wife Patricia of Derry, NH, his sister Cheryl Garon and her husband Michael of Atkinson, NH, his sister-in-law Patricia Perron of Raymond, NH. Besides his parents, Ric was predeceased by his brother Herbert (Herbie) in 2014. He leaves behind nephews Michael and Matthew Garon, Kenneth Perron, step nephew Richard Kanan, niece/Godchild Pat Stewart, nieces Tina, Jean and Bridget Perron, Jessica Santiago, Melissa Garon, step nieces Terri and Lisa Kanan and Pat Beauregard. He also leaves behind his companion of several years Nancy Steber. Ric will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
