HAVERHILL - Richard (Dick) Leith, 86, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

He was born and raised in Haverhill, the son of Robert and Iva (Collins) Leith.

Richard was a respected businessman in the florist industry. He was the co-owner of Leith's Flower Shop and Garden Center in Haverhill, Massachusetts until 1988. He and his wife Kathleen were  known for their flower and garden crafts throughout New England.

Richard is survived by his wife of 66 years Kathleen (Cotter) Leith, his children Richard and wife Patricia of East Kingston, NH, and Jean (Leith) Sherburne and husband Dana of Haverhill, MA. He was the cherished grandfather to Melinda (Leith) Estabrook, Brian Sherburne, Tiffany Leith and Michael Sherburne, and great grandfather to Penelope Sherburne. He is survived by his brother, Robert Leith of Plaistow, NH and sister, Joan Hall of Atkinson, NH, and many nieces and nephews.

Richard is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Iva Leith and sister Jean (Leith) Russell.
