HAVERHILL - Richard R. LaBelle of Haverhill, MA, passed away peacefully on June, 3, 2023.

He was born on August 24, 1943, the son of the late Raoul M. and Alice (Lemire) LaBelle.

Richard attended St. Joseph's Grammar School and Haverhill Trade School. He retired from Merrimack College after many years working as a supervisor in the Physical Plant Department. Richard loved to travel with his wife, Cabrini, and enjoyed golfing, fishing (making lures), watching sports and going to casinos. He had a great sense of humor and could always put a smile on your face.

Richard is survived by his wife of 54 years, Cabrini (Rossetti) LaBelle, sisters Patricia R. Leavitt of Haverhill, Rose Marie Brugnani and husband, Edward of FL, Theresa B. Leone, of Methuen, Elizabeth A. Gueli and husband Frank of Haverhill, brothers Raoul R. LaBelle of VA, Raymond G. LaBelle of Plaistow, NH, Eugene P. "Butch" LaBelle and wife Josephine of Haverhill, brother in-law, Joseph Rossetti, of Indianapolis, IN and several nieces and nephews. Richard was predeceased by siblings Lucile Howes (†1959), Barbara J. Cote (†2016), Albert L. LaBelle (†1985), Joseph W. LaBelle (†2018).
