HAVERHILL – Richard J. Fenton, 78, longtime Haverhill resident, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

He was born in Lawrence on June 29, 1942, son of the late John and Rita (LeFebvre) Fenton. Richard graduated from North Andover High School, class of 1961. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army having served from 1966-1968 during Vietnam. Richard worked for the Town of North Andover Highway Department for over 30 years until his retirement. His activities included traveling, motorcycling and camping. He was a great man and will be truly missed.

Richard is survived by his cherished wife Shirley (Sadowski) Fenton; and was the brother of the late Jack Fenton.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 1, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Services beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow with U.S. Army Honors in St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.
