Priscilla Dee Lang

Priscilla Dee Lang passed away peacefully on August 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Patricia J. Marrs of North Andover.

Priscilla attended schools in North Andover and began her working career with the New England Telephone Company before marrying her beloved husband, John Lang, and dedicating herself to raising their family. Eighteen years later, Priscilla returned to the workforce, where she worked in the Admitting Office at Hale Hospital, for The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, at Phillips Academy in Andover, in the Haverhill City Clerk’s Office, and at Holy Family Hospital, from which she eventually retired.

Priscilla was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends. Over the years, she traveled throughout Europe and the United States with her dearest friends and truly enjoyed all that life had to offer. She cherished the many memories she made along the way and the people who shared them with her.

Priscilla was predeceased by her husband, John Lang, and Albert Clete.

She leaves behind her beloved Aunt Carolyn; her loving children, Susan J. Lang and her husband, Joseph Ruder, of Amesbury; Priscilla Lang and her wife, Desi Joseph, of London, England; Heidi M. Mitchitson and her husband, John, of Haverhill; Patrick Lang and his wife, Shannon, of North Carolina; Peter Lang and his wife, Sara, of Amherst, New Hampshire; and Joseph P. Lang and his wife, Tia, of Las Vegas, Nevada.

She also leaves her cherished grandchildren, Timothy M. Lang and his wife, Jeff; Chelsea Jansuzewski; Maggie Ruder; Ryan Lang; Kaitlin Lang; John Michitson; Grace Michitson; Atticus Lang; Tristan Lang; and Lucy Huddy; as well as her great-grandchildren, Haley Lang, Grayson Lang, and Soul Jansuzewski.

Priscilla is also survived by her sister, Adeline Hogg of Des Peres, Missouri, and several nieces and nephews.

Priscilla will be remembered for her love of family and friends, her enjoyment of life, and the many lasting memories she created with those she held dear. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
