HAVERHILL - Priscilla Jeanne Dow, 83, passed away peacefully February 26 surrounded by family and cherished love ones. Priscilla lived her life throughout varied Massachusetts communities but made her home here in Haverhill since the mid 1970's.

She leaves behind a sister Marcia Evans and nephew Norman Evans and his wife Maureen. She also leaves behind many beloved caregivers and beloved friend turned family including Florence "Rita" Groves and the entire Groves family. Her friends turned family John and Kathleen Pruett and their children Calvin, Andrew and Ally. Devoted friend turned family Lynne E. Donovan and the entire Donovan family.

Priscilla cherished family and friends above all and lived a life relishing family gatherings and parties, traveling, theater, especially musicals. She was an avid card player and always up for a lengthy game of Rummy with anyone daring to challenge her. She was always up for adventure and was game for trips to the beach, visiting the MSPCA, long rides along the coast and vacationing at Lake Winnisquam, NH on weekends in the summer. She had an innate sense of humor and was always up for a great prank and any type of tomfoolery or ballyhoo. She was a dedicated friend to many in her community and relished the chance to sit and have a cup of coffee or a leisurely breakfast with her friends at Heavnly Donuts in Bradford and Raff's Café.

Sincere family thanks to the staff at Lawrence General Hospital, Hannah Dustin Nursing Home and Merrimack Valley Hospice as their care and support was unwavering and their compassion unparalleled.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 2 in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Haverhill from 10:00 to 11:30 AM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Hearts Church, 165 So. Main Street, Haverhill at 12:00 PM. Interment will be privately held in Elmwood Cemetery.
