HAVERHILL - Porfirio A. Jimenez passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 2, 2022.

He was born in the city of Bonao, Dominican Republic on September 5, 1959. Porfirio was always a happy person who enjoyed the little things in life. At home he was the one in charge of celebrating the important days, always bringing with him a piece of his roots so that we would never forget where we came from. He love to cook, cut his sunflowers, sometimes even raise chickens, he enjoyed planning his trips to the Dominican Republic, enjoying them as if it were the last, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and the grandfather that everyone wanted.

Surviving family members include his wife Maria Paez de Jimenez; children Juan Jimenez, Emerlin Jimenez and Ana Jimenez; many loved grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 7, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill form 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill at 10:00 AM. Please meet directly at the church.
