Peter Michael Vinci, a dedicated father, proud Army veteran, and lifelong musician, passed away on April 20, 2026, at the age of 76.

Born and raised in Haverhill, MA, Peter's rhythm was established early. Throughout high school, he shared his voice and talent on the organ with the Mystic Five Band.

At 19, he answered the call to serve, enlisting in the U.S. Army. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he carried the values of discipline and service with him throughout his life. Upon returning home, he began a distinguished career in the banking industry, where he remained a respected fixture for over 50 years.

Known to many as "Mr. Fix It," Peter had a solution for every problem.

In his earlier years, Peter was an avid golfer and bowler, enjoying the competition and camaraderie of the game. More recently, he loved the energy of the casino, frequently visiting Mohegan Sun, Twin River, Encore, and The Brook to chase the jackpot and enjoy the "action."

He is survived by his wife, Maureen; his children, Vernon Bushway, Holly DeLuca and her husband Andy, and Samantha Vinci and her partner Bill Flanagan. He was the proud grandfather of nine: George (and wife Andrea), Amanda (and husband Andy), Michael, Alexia, Brendon, Tylia, Brianna, Drew, and Dominic; and the doting great-grandfather of Logan and Luca. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law Alice and his niece and nephew, Thea and Tad.

Peter was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Irene Vinci, and his brother, Tommy Vinci.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 26, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Haverhill, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Interment with United States Army Honors will take place on Monday, April 27, in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill, beginning at 11:00 AM.
