HAVERHILL - Peter, after several years of illness, took on his own battles. Firing a broadside, with his unshakeable faith in his right hand and in his left the "only" love of his life, a lovely young lady Kristina Descoteaux. Kristina held Peter up each and every day caring for him with the kind of love you rarely see, unconditional and oh so tender. Peter was the love of her life. We, the entire Petrou family, hold her on a pedestal and thank her.

Peter (Butch) Petrou and Paula Ryan Petrou are proud of their son Peter because he chose to live life his way. Peter's family always came first like Saint Joseph the Protector, Peter watched over his brother and sisters from an early age. His love for his heavenly sister Philana Anne Petrou, sisters Beth Anne Finn (Petrou) and Samantha Anne Petrou and the best brother Peter could ask for, Christopher Ryan Petrou was extraordinary. Peter will always be with us. He will carry us and pick us up each and every day until our family is reunited for eternity. To know him was to love him and we always will.

His Funeral will be held Saturday morning, May 23, beginning in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Bradford at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in Sacred Hearts Church, Bradford at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.

Calling hours will be Friday in the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
