HAVERHILL - Pauline Smith, 84, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 11 after losing her long battle with Lung Cancer.

Pauline was born in Lowell on May 9, 1932, daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Hubert) Lobas. She was raised and educated in Lowell. Pauline worked as a machine operator for Davco Industries until her retirement in 1996 as well as for Hurley Shoe both in Haverhill. She enjoyed reading, sewing and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.

Her surviving family members include her loving children Mark Smith and Pauline Jouvelakos and husband George; siblings Phyllis of WA and Gail of Lowell; grandchildren Raymond Jouvelakos and Jamie Jouvelakos; sister of late Joseph Lobas. Wife of the late Raymond Smith who passed in 1998.
