HAVERHILL - Paul Riley, 61, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday evening, June 19, 2013, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers.
Paul was born on June 21, 1951, son of the late Philip and Mary (Carter) Riley. Raised in Andover, currently he was a resident of the Chadwick Road Home through American Training and previously resided at the Court Street Home.
He was a loving and caring individual who loved life and was a joy to be around. In his youth he enjoyed basketball, and always was a sports fan. Paul spent his days involved with the CLASS facility in Lawrence and forged many friendships over the years.
His surviving family members include his loving siblings, Cathy Riley of Amesbury, Phil Riley and his wife Janet of Amesbury, and Jim Riley and his wife Jeanne of Maui, Hawaii; he also leaves many dear friends and caregivers who shared a special place in his heart; brother of the late Philip Riley, Jr.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, June 25, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street (Rte. 125), Bradford from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Riley Family Lot of Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Barker Street, Lawrence. Funeral Rites will be offered graveside officiated by Rev. Benjamin LeTran of Sacred Hearts Parish, Bradford.
Contributions may be made in Paul's memory to Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan Street, Danvers, MA 01923.
