GROVELAND - Patricia A. (Henchey) Dole, 79, longtime Groveland resident, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 22, 2014, surrounded by her loved ones following a lengthy illness.

Patricia was born in Dorchester on April 28, 1935, daughter of the late of Joseph and Catherine (Callum) Henchey. She worked for Operation Alligator in Haverhill prior to starting her business as an Avon representative. She enjoyed her Saturday night country western family.

Loving wife of the late George Paul Dole who passed in 1989.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and being involved in her grandchildren's lives. Patricia had a wonderful garden, with an array of beautiful plants she carefully tended to. She lived for the sunshine, fun, and surrounded herself with wonderful people.

Patricia will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. "Her soul shines with the stars above."

Her surviving family members include her loving children, Kathy Meltsakos and husband Paul of Groveland, John Dole of Haverhill, Jim Dole and wife Maribeth of Groveland and Richard Dole and Rebecca of West Newbury; grandchildren, Jessie Dole, Shelby Dole, Christopher Meltsakos, MD and Selena Meltsakos; her significant other, Charles (Chuck) Lebel of Lynn; brother Donald Henchey and wife Doris; nieces Jean and Theresa; nephew, Brian.

Funeral Services will begin Saturday morning, December 27, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Haverhill at 9:00 AM. Catholic Funeral Rites will be offered in the funeral home by Rev. John Delaney, Pastor of Sacred Hearts Parish, Bradford at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place in Riverview Cemetery, Groveland.

Visitation will be held Friday in the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
