HAVERHILL - Patricia A. (Siracosa) Deveau, 77 of Bradford, passed away peacefully Friday afternoon, March 16, 2012 at the Holy Family Hospital, Methuen.
Mrs. Deveau was born in Boston on July 3, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Vernacchio) Siracosa of Italy. She was raised in Everett, attended Everett schools and continued onto business school.
Loving wife of fifty years to the late Joseph R. Deveau who passed in 2003.
After marriage, they moved to Bradford and began to raise their family. Once the children were grown, she worked in the offices of the former Family Bank on Merrimack Street, Haverhill, for several years.
Her interests included camping and traveling with her husband to many places, especially Walt Disney World. Most of all, she enjoyed the time spent gathered with her family and all of her grandchildren.
Surviving family members include her children, Joseph Deveau and his wife Mary of Haverhill, Mariane Tyburski and her husband Michael of Bradford, John Deveau and his wife Rosemarie of Bradford, Katherine Jaques of Penacook, NH and Denie Deveau of Amesbury; grandchildren, Joshua Deveau and his fiancé Kristin Graham, Erica Nolan and her husband Jeff, Robbie Jaques, Michael Tyburski, Caitlin Deveau, Matthew Deveau, Jaqueline Deveau, and Maxwell Deveau; brothers, Michael Siracosa and his wife Rita of Lynn, and John Siracosa and his wife Debbie of Wakefield; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; sister of the late Joan Nunez.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning, March 20, beginning in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Bradford at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Hearts Church, 165 So. Main Street, Bradford at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Salem Street, Bradford. Visiting hours will be held Monday in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street (Rte. 125), Bradford, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mrs. Deveau's memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Sacred Hearts Parish, 48 So. Chestnut Street, Bradford, MA 01835.
