Obituary

PLAISTOW, NH - Patrice Carman, 56, of Plaistow, NH passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on June 23, 2016. She was an extraordinary woman who embraced every opportunity to live life to the fullest.

Patrice was born in Boston, MA on August 27, 1959 to Mary Jane (Monaghan) Todesco and the late Joseph Carman. She grew up in Wellesley, MA and graduated from Wellesley High School in 1977. Patrice was well educated and loved learning, receiving her bachelor's degree from Regis College, and went on to obtain her MBA from Southern New Hampshire University in 1989. She later became a very successful entrepreneur. Patrice was the proud owner and operator of At Your Service ChemDry, servicing loyal customers all over the Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire areas for the past 26 years.

Patrice was a dedicated equestrian and competitor. Fondly known as the barn Aunt to many generations of young riders that passed through the arena doors over the years, Patrice was always there to support, care for, and encourage all of those around her. Most days Patrice would arrive at Senator Bell Farm in Chester, NH early, entering with a sunny hello, a tip of news, and a busy agenda for the day ahead. She loved that quiet time most, when she would walk her beloved dog Quattro through the beautiful fields and woods before she rode her cherished horse, Charlie. Patrice was an active competitor and belonged to numerous equestrian associations throughout New England, often volunteering her time to support the sport of riding. It was a common sight to see Patrice ringside even if she was not competing, always making sure she connected with competitors and supporters alike, making everyone feel special.

Patrice was also a passionate Boston Sports Fan. When a game was on, she was either in attendance or settled down at the television in plenty of time to catch every minute! She enjoyed cheering on the Red Sox and Patriots, with her brothers Michael and Tim, along with their children. Patrice cherished visits with her mother in sunny Arizona, and treasured her time spent with her adored nieces, proudly sharing their accomplishments frequently with friends.

Patrice is survived by her mother Mary Jane Todesco of Green Valley, AZ, her brothers Michael Carman and his wife Robin from Framingham, MA and Tim Carman from Clinton, MA, her three beautiful nieces Kaitlin, Molly, and Faith, her beloved horse Charlie, her dog and loyal companion Quattro, and many close friends.

Patrice was widely admired and respected for her positive and upbeat outlook, her generosity, and her 100% commitment to everything she did - she loved life, and those she met along her journey. Patrice will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Patrice's Life on Monday, July 11 at the Tuscan Kitchen Restaurant in Salem, NH from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, with a special remembrance at 6:00 PM.
