HAVERHILL - Norma Jean (Paciulli) Consoli, 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 16, 2019.

Norma grew up on Washington Street, Haverhill with parents Andrew and Lena Paciulli, her sister Doloris, and her brother Tony. Although her address changed, she called Haverhill home for her entire life.

After high school, Norma began working as an office secretary in Boston. One day, on a train ride back to Haverhill, she found the love of her life, Benjamin Consoli of Lawrence. Since that moment, like the train itself, the couple never stopped moving.

Ben and Norma started their family in 1960 with their first son Paul, followed by Andrew, Robert, Mary and Benjamin. In addition to being a wife and mother, Norma also transformed her secretarial skills into bookkeeping expertise and became the bookkeeper for the company she and her husband built, Ben Consoli Realtors.

Norma's greatest love was her family and she was blessed with four grandchildren: Andy, Samantha, Taylor and Dylan and two great-grandchildren: Charlotte and Olivia. Norma was happiest with her family, especially when spending hours in the kitchen preparing a meal for them, whether it was Christmas Day, 3rd of July, or an ordinary Sunday afternoon.

Norma loved to have fun. Even after traveling the world, her favorite place on earth was Disney's Main Street USA. Watching movies, eating junk food, late night card games...if it was fun, she was there.

Norma passed away on July 16th, 2019. But her memory, like that train where she met the love of her life, will keep going in our hearts. Visitation will be Thursday, July 18, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Haverhill from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Services will begin Friday in the funeral home at 10:00 AM.
