Noreen Hayden
(Peart) Morneault
October 14, 1942 – October 27, 2024
NORTH ANDOVER - Noreen Hayden (Peart) Morneault of North Andover, MA, 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, October 27, 2024 due to complications of Alzheimer's Dementia. A native of Bennington, VT, she was born on October 14, 1942, the daughter of the late Harold and Rose (Hayden) Peart.
Noreen was a kind and quiet woman, who opened up with those she knew closely. After graduating from Albany Medical College in Albany, NY, Noreen became a radiology technician, working at hospitals and surgical offices in Merrimack Valley, MA. Noreen thoroughly enjoyed reading, and she could also be found combing through flea markets and antique shops, looking for the perfect knick knacks and decor. She was an expert at teaching her children how to ski at Bradford Ski Area, and was always cheering them on whether it was ski racing, horseback riding, or hockey. She was a wonderful mother, and was always a soft place to land without judgment or criticism. In her most recent years, she enjoyed sharing Sunday lunches with her family. Her granddaughter Amelia loved showing her pictures and videos of her horseback riding lessons, and they would talk about horses to each other's delight. Noreen was happiest hearing stories from her family about their daily lives, and being present in the moment with those she loved. Noreen's loss will be felt by many, especially her family who is thankful for the time they got to share with her.
Noreen is survived by her children Gary Morneault of MA, Curtis Morneault and fiance Sheri Davis of Amesbury, MA, Valerie Morneault and husband Sam Higginbottom of Barrington, NH, and granddaughter Amelia Cunha of Barrington, NH.
A celebration of life will be held privately with family, arrangements made by Driscoll Funeral Home. For guestbook, visit www.driscollcares.com
