Haverhill: Nancy E. (Brown) Kahigian, 72, died peacefully Wednesday morning at the Merrimack Valley Hospital surrounded by her family. Nancy was the wife of John Kahigian.

Born in Manchester, NH January 3, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Gladys (Kendrick) Brown.

Educated in Haverhill Nancy was a 1954 graduate of Haverhill High School. She continued her education at Essex Agricultural School of Nursing graduating as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Many families and associates will remember her dedicated caring for patients at Lakeview House Nursing Home and Baker Katz Nursing Home. As a young woman she had attended The Salvation Army Church. Nancy was an accomplished musician and enjoyed playing the piano for her family and friends. She was a creative and artistic person who took great pride in maintaining her beautiful home. Nancy and John enjoyed many "road trips" to Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

In addition to her husband of almost 53 years Nancy is survived by her daughters, Gaynelle E. Kahigian of Saco, ME, Gale E. Donovan and her husband David of Haverhill; twin grandsons, Matthew and Kyle Donovan, also of Haverhill.

Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral Saturday 3:00 p.m. at Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill. Interment at Linwood Cemetery. Calling hours will precede the funeral from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to www.dcsfuneralhome.com
