HAVERHILL – Michael A. DeFeo, Sr., 74, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.

He was born in Haverhill on September 21, 1948.

Mike was a longtime butcher and sausage maker and enjoyed his work. At home he was an avid vegetable gardener, especially tending to his varieties of hot peppers. He would turn any dish he made spicy, much to the fear and amusement of his family. Mike loved to cook a big Italian meal and a good steak. He always enjoyed his annual Disney vacations with his wife and loved to be in the mountains.

Surviving family members include his children Michael DeFeo, Jr. and Marcie DeFeo both of Haverhill; siblings John DeFeo, Jr. of Plaistow, NH and Florence Alves of East Providence, RI; and many loved nieces and nephews. Predeceased by wife Catherine (Yuele) DeFeo; parents John and Josephine (DeFazio) DeFeo and brother Samuel DeFeo.
