Obituary

ANDOVER - Matthew Paul Bartlett, 45, Andover, MA died peacefully surrounded by his family on December 16, at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Matt was born and raised in Newburyport and attended Newburyport Public Schools through Middle School. He also attended the Spaulding Youth Special Education School in Tilton, NH.

He attended Opportunity Works in Haverhill; he also loved his work with horses at the Windrush Farm in North Andover.

Matt was a Special Olympics athlete in track and field. He enjoyed bowling and playing basketball with his brothers. He also loved the Muppets, wrestling, and music.

He is survived by his mother Kathy Hill and her husband Raymond of Seabrook; his brothers Michael Bartlett and his wife Kim of Amesbury and Sean Hart and his wife Meghan of Quincy; his niece Allison Bartlett and nephew Aesop Hart; and his step-father John Hart of Salisbury. He was predeceased by his grandparents Albert and Elizabeth Savage and grandmother Mary Lou Hart.
