GEORGETOWN - Mary E. (Denn) LaBombard, 62, of Georgetown, formerly of Groveland, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 8, 2014, surrounded by her loving family at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House.

Mary was born in Boston on June 2, 1952, loving daughter of Edward and Patricia (Holleran) Denn of Groveland. She attended Groveland schools, and a graduate of Pentucket High School, class of 1970. She continued her education at Northern Essex Community College.

Her first job was with the Woolworth Co. at Haverhill Plaza. She worked for many years as an operator with New England Telephone Company until her retirement to raise her daughter. She then was employed at the Barn Yard, Georgetown for several years..

Mary's activities included antiquing, cross-wording and she was an avid gardener. She received the biggest joy in life by spending time with her loved ones.

She has been a resident of Georgetown for many years with her loving husband of almost 37 years, Denis LaBombard. Her surviving family members in addition to her parents, include her daughter, Laura LaBombard of Georgetown; siblings, Edward Denn and wife Kim of Millbury, Michael Denn and wife Susan of Walpole, Peter Denn and wife Carmen of West Newbury, Joseph Denn and wife Suzan of Somersworth, NH, Patrick Denn and wife Sarah of Westford, Catherine Denn Freed and husband Andy of Melrose, Christopher Denn and wife Kelli of Boxford, and Rebecca Slocum and husband Lee of Haverhill; sister-in-law Carol Denn of Mendon; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday morning, August 12, beginning in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, (Rte. 125), Bradford at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 114 Center Street, Groveland at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Louis de Gonzague Cemetery, Nashua, NH.

Visiting hours will be Monday in the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
