PLAISTOW, NH: Mary- Beth "Cookie" Lathrop, 80, passed away on May 13, 2025 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington.

Born in Woonsocket, RI on May 8, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Victor E. and Muriel (Luce) Reed.

Following her graduation from Haverhill High School, Class of 1963, Cookie enrolled at Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene in Boston where she earned an associate in science degree from Northeastern University. As a licensed Dental Hygienist, she worked in the profession for fifty-five years. She was an avid reader and found comfort and solace while quilting.

Cookie is survived by her children; Jeffrey P. Condon and his wife Robin of Methuen, Dr. Christopher R. Condon and his wife Allyson of Nashua, NH, Robert M. Condon of Haverhill, Dr. John M. Lathrop and his wife Becky of Plaistow; nine grandchildren. She was predeceased by her infant daughter, Julie Lathrop, her brother, Philip Reed and stepdaughter, Molly Lathrop.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 10:00a.m. at Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main St., Haverhill.
