Martha Merced, 86 years old, residing in Haverhill mass, passed away suddenly at Boston Medical Center in Brighton, Massachusetts on Thursday, August 13, 2026.

Martha was born July 29, 1940 in Comerio, Puerto Rico, to Cecilia and Adrian Robles.

In 1969 Martha decided to move to Haverhill, Massachusetts with her five children to be closer to her brothers.

She worked at Lucent Technologies for over 30 years. Martha loved fishing and doing word search puzzles. Martha love people and that love poured over into everyone she knew, she was known for her kind heart, warm spirit and remarkable strength. She was a wonderful mother who put her children first before herself.

Martha is survived by her beloved children: Norberto Merced, Eduardo Merced, Pedro Merced,Jr. and Nora Merced. Her grandchildren, who she loved dearly, nieces,nephews and her brothers, Carlos, Victor and Efrain Robles.

Martha is now resting in peace with the Lord alongside her husband Pedro Merced, her daughter Delia Hernandez, her mother Cecilia Robles, and her father Adrian Robles.

Martha will be deeply missed by her family and everyone that knew her. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Haverhill from 10:00 to 11:30 AM. Ceremony will begin at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery, Haverhill. For guestbook, visit www.driscollcares.com
