EAST HAMPSTEAD, NH - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mark A. Stairs of East Hampstead, NH. Mark was 73 years old and born in Brookline, MA. Son of  Cleve V. Stairs of Wells, ME and the late Claire L. (Bornstein) Stairs.

Mark's surviving family members include his loving wife of fifty years Marie (Orlandella) Stairs of East Hampstead, NH; daughter Meredith Hernon and her spouse Thomas of Haverhill, MA; and two precious grandchildren Emma and Patrick Hernon; his four sisters Alicia Wolf of Lowell, MA, Debra Marlar of Lincoln, NE, Karen Stairs and Gayle Harris both of Lowell, MA; also many nieces and nephews; predeceased by his sister Elana Evans.

Mark was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 11, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Services will be offered beginning at 7:00 PM. Note to wear face coverings and social distancing measures will be in place. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Anna Jaques Hospital, Newburyport, MA in his name.
