Mark A. Rampulla, 58, of Haverhill, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 26, 2026. 

Born and raised in Haverhill, Mark was the beloved son of Patricia (Villaire) and Peter Rampulla. He grew up alongside his brother, Stephen, and remained deeply connected to the community he proudly called home throughout his life. 

Mark graduated from Haverhill High School and later attended Northern Essex Community College, where he earned Dean’s List honors. 

Mark was a gifted athlete from a young age and carried his love of sports throughout his life. He enjoyed watching games, and, in recent years, sports betting. Whether cheering for his favorite teams or sharing his opinions about a game, sports brought him great happiness. 

Mark was the devoted husband and best friend of Erin Rampulla, the love of his life. They married on September 21, 1991, and shared nearly 35 years together building a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Before becoming parents, Mark and Erin enjoyed traveling together, including trips to Ireland, the Caribbean, and many other destinations. They also shared a special love for their beloved late dog, Bailey. 

Together, Mark and Erin created a warm and loving home where family always came first. He was a proud and devoted father to his twin daughters, Bree and Shaye, who were the center of his world and his greatest accomplishment. 

Mark took great pride in caring for his home and approached everything he did with dedication and attention to detail. Those same qualities were evident throughout his 26 years at Pike School, where he was a respected and valued employee. His kindness, dependability, and genuine care left a lasting impression on students, families, and colleagues. 

Mark found joy in life’s simple moments. He loved spending time with his family, watching movies with his daughters, enjoying television shows, and sharing meals with those he loved. A true food enthusiast, he could remember meals he had enjoyed years earlier and found happiness watching his daughters enjoy foods he could no longer have himself. 

He loved entertaining family and friends, dancing with Erin—especially to “Saturday in the Park” and the long walks throughout Haverhill that amazed those who knew him. 

In addition to his beloved wife, Erin; his daughters, Bree and Shaye; and his mother, Patricia, Mark is survived by his brother, Stephen Rampulla, and his wife, Deborah Rampulla; their children, Brenna and Nicholas; his father-in-law, Patrick Ryan; his sister-in-law, Tara Ryan, and his nephew, Senan Byrne; along with many extended family members, dear friends, coworkers, and neighbors who will forever cherish his memory. 

Mark was predeceased by his father, Peter Rampulla; his grandparents, Bessie and Andrew Rampulla, Mazie and William Villaire; his mother-in-law, Maureen Ryan; and many other beloved family members. 

Above all else, Mark will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend. His generosity, humor, warmth, and unwavering love for his family touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. Though his passing leaves a tremendous void, the memories he created and the love he shared will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know him.
