WARE - Mark N. Bassford passed away on June 18, 2015 after a long illness. He leaves his sisters, Ronni Nichols and husband David, Anne Stucklen and husband Rick and Kathy Bassford and husband Peter Krawczyk. He was predeceased by his parents, Philip and Eleanor Bassford; sister Joan Bassford; and nephew Paul Bacon Stucklen. Mark also leaves his beloved nieces and nephews Tracey Suraci, Angela Lawrence, Corey Wolf, Richard Stucklen, Jason Nichols, William Stucklen and Johnny Stucklen.

Mark was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on June 21, 1953 and moved to Ware in 1969.

Mark was kind to everyone and always had time to stop and chat. He will be missed but he will live in our hearts forever.

Private memorial service will be held at a later date.
