GROVELAND: Marjorie "Midge" (Stevens) Descoteaux, 76, passed away peacefully on March 22nd at her home with her family at her side.

Born in Haverhill on February 24, 1933, Mrs. Descoteaux was the daughter of the late Russell Stevens and Eileen (Bickford) Beaulieu.

Everyone who was fortunate enough to know Midge knew of her love for her family and friends. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed every moment of life, whether it was bowling in her early years, playing cards or celebrating St. Patrick's Day with family and friends. She loved summer vacations on Cape Cod feeding the seagulls and winters in Florida enjoying Vero and Bonita Beach. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. We will miss seeing her smile each day, but her love will live in our hearts forever.

Midge is survived by her beloved husband of 58 year, Theodore E. Descoteaux; her loving daughters, Denise Difeo and her husband Sam of Ft. Myers, FL, Donna Drinon and her husband Bill, Debra Bonanno and her husband Anthony, both of New Durham, NH, Doreen Yacubacci and her husband Brian, Dena Dehullu and her husband Stephen, both of Groveland; brothers, Charles Stevens and his companion Vincenza Marshall of Hampton, NH, Russell Stevens and his wife Siobhan of Plaistow, NH; sister Elizabeth Dickinson and husband Ron of Plaistow, NH; grandchildren, Christi, Catrina, Dan, Brian, Angelina, Steve, Alex, Julia; great grandson Chase, and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Dianne Descoteaux.

Friends are invited to the Memorial Service Thursday 10:30 a.m. at Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill. Calling hours will precede the service from 9:00 to 10:30. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Greenpeace, 702 H Street NW, Suite 300, Washington, DC 20001, or the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
