Haverhill: Marilyn L. (Reed) Beede, 85, passed away on December 14, 2016 at the Nevins Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Methuen. Mrs. Beede was the wife of the late Ernest N. Beede.

Born in Somerville, MA on June 27, 1931, Mrs. Beede was the daughter of the late Warren E. Sr. and Margaret V. (Brailsford) Reed, Prior to her marriage she worked as a Nurse's Aid for various local nursing homes.

Mrs. Beede is survived by her daughter Lori-Jean Gaudette; stepchildren, Henry Beede, Alberta Wright, Karen Vaughn, Ernestine Nogle; two grandchildren, Jennifer and Jason Gaudette; brother, Fred Reed of Berlin, NH, Robert Reed and his wife Angela of Andover; sisters, Elizabeth Reed of Methuen, Jeanne Nichols of Methuen, Gail Graney of Berlin, NH, Nancy Oliski, Louise Cinquegrana of Lake Wales, FL, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Barbara Miller, Lois King, Florence Watt, and Edna Mansfield.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at Elmwood Cemetery. At the family's request there will be no calling hours. Arrangements under the direction of Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main St., Haverhill.
