Marilyn Starr Goodwin, 79, of Groveland, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on the evening of July 27th, 2026.

She was born on February 6th, 1947, to Gardner and Geneva Parsons of Gloucester, Massachusetts.

Marilyn was most known for her artistic endeavors: she was an avid knitter and crafter, was always bringing a delicious meal or dessert to holidays, and could be found tending to her gardens or spending time with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Harold M. Goodwin Jr, and her brother Gardner “Bootsie” Parsons. She is survived by her two sisters and her brother, Donna Colarusso, Nancy Parisi, and Douglas Parsons.

Marilyn is also survived by her five children and their families, Glenn Goodwin, Kathleen Goodwin, Paul Goodwin, Christine Szydlo, and William Goodwin, and her grandchildren, Peter Fischer, Michael Fischer, Brian Blaquiere, Stephanie Goodwin, Charlotte Goodwin, Felicia Goodwin, Raeanne Szydlo, and Benjamin Szydlo, great grandchildren Alexa Fischer and Colton Blaquiere, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She will be deeply missed.
