Obituary

HAVERHILL - Marilyn C. (Cataldo) Campbell, 71, of Middleton, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2013, surrounded by her loving family and friends at the Kaplan Hospice House, Danvers, after a lengthy battle with COPD.

Marilyn is the daughter of the late William A. Cataldo and Josephine (Nisco) Cataldo. She is a graduate of Revere High School, class of 1960, and Salem State College, class of 1965.

Her recent activities included bowling, playing mahjong and most importantly she loved to spend time with her family and friends.

Her surviving family members include her cherished children; son, Carlton Campbell and his wife Heidi of Haverhill, and daughter, Elaine Dalton and her husband David of Groveland; fourteen caring grandchildren, Laura Campbell, William Campbell II, Kathryn Campbell DeJesus, Ariana DeCola Stead, Timothy Campbell, Lydia Campbell, Carlton Campbell, Nolan Campbell, Nicole Dalton, Brett Dalton, Theodore Veerman, Stephanie Veerman, Elyse Dalton and Sophia Dalton; three great-grandchildren, Aurora Agnew, Jace Campbell and Saige DeJesus; brothers, Robert Cataldo and his wife Linda, of Wakefield, and William Cataldo and his wife Janis of Peabody; many nieces and nephews. Carlton and Elaine would like to thank the staff of Penacook Place in Haverhill and Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers for taking such incredible care of their mother.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday morning, December 26, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, (Rte. 125), Bradford from 8:30 to 10:30 AM. Her Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John the Baptist Church, 110 Lincoln Avenue, Haverhill at 11:00 AM.
