METHUEN - Marie J. German, 67, longtime Methuen resident passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, October 9, 2015 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House.

Born and raised in Methuen, she was the daughter of the late Harold J. and Rita (Martel) German. She attended Tenney High School in Methuen and was in the graduating class of 1967. She worked as a secretary at Western Electric in North Andover and also worked at Admiral Folding Box Co. in Methuen.

She enjoyed shopping, listening to music and talk radio. Marie also cared for her father Harold at home during his battle with Alzheimer's Disease.

Her surviving family members include her brother, Victor German of Seabrook, NH and her sister, Jean Clevesy of Groveland. She also leaves a niece, Christine Clevesy and her son Kane Burns of Groveland, and a nephew, Brian Clevesy of Manchester, NH. Her extended family includes three aunts, an uncle and several cousins.

Memorial Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 23, in the Sacred Hearts Church, 165 So. Main Street, Bradford at 9:00 AM.
