HAVERHILL - Marie C. (Marcoux) Collins, 89, lifelong resident of Haverhill, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Penacook Place Nursing Home with her son Daniel by her side.

Marie was born in Haverhill on June 19, 1926, daughter of the late Francis and Mary E. (Ambrose) Marcoux. She graduated from St. James High School and was employed during the 1970's by the Tidy Didy Diaper Service. She worked from many years at Lady Finnelle until her retirement in November of 1990. She was the cherished wife of the late Robert L. Collins who passed away in 1971.

She was a loving and caring woman, who was a faithful Catholic parishioner of Sacred Hearts Church, Bradford. Marie enjoyed a lifetime of shopping.

Her surviving family member include her loving children, Corinne M. Sardella and husband Steven of Ward Hill, Robert F. Collins of FL, Catherine N. Collins of NH, Daniel J. Collins and partner Roger Stillinger of Haverhill and Thomas J. Collins of Haverhill; brother John Marcoux of FL; 17 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren; mother of the late Margaret E. Defeo; sister of the late , Edward Marcoux, Robert Marcoux, Francis Marcoux, Arlene Jennings and Eleanor Marcoux.

Her Funeral will be held Tuesday morning, January 19, beginning in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Bradford at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in Sacred Hearts Church, Bradford at 10:00 AM.

Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Haverhill.

Visiting hours will be Monday in the funeral home from 3:00 to 6:00 PM.
