GROVELAND - Maria Tazuko (Spahr) Huggins, 43, of Groveland, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 20, 2019, surrounded by her loved ones at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston.

She was born on August 26, 1975 and raised in Dover, PA and traveled to Japan during the summers and attended school there. She enjoyed reading and coaching youth basketball and soccer. Most of all she loved being a mom to her daughter.

Maria's surviving family members included her loving husband of 13 years Eric Huggins; cherished daughter Isabella; parents Thomas and Junko Spahr; sister Tina Forrest and husband Andre and nieces Illeana and Yumi Forrest; brother in-law Bill Huggins and wife Stephanie and nephew Liam Huggins and niece Grace Huggins; sister in-law Traci Colston and husband Robert and nephews Thomas and Kellen Colston; brother in-law Adam Huggins and nephew Jackson Huggins; brother in-law Rick Huggins and nephew Liam Huggins; mother in-law Jill Huggins and honorary father-in-law Daniel Davis; father in-law William Huggins; and many other relatives and friends.
