HAVERHILL - Maria Frangoulis, 99, currently of Bradford, passed away peacefully in her sleep early Saturday morning, January 21, 2017 at Lawrence General Hospital.

She is survived by her cherished daughter Nicki Kafides and son in-law George Kafides.

Mrs. Frangoulis was born on March 17, 1917 in Kalloni, Mytilene, Greece. There she lived, married and started her family. In November of 1955, she and along with her husband Pantelis and their daughter Nicki, emigrated to the United States. Mrs. Frangoulis and her family resided in Boston until she widowed in 1973. Since then, Mrs. Frangouls alternated residence between her beloved home town in Greece and her daughter's home in Bradford.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 25, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Bradford from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Church services and burial will take place in Kalloni, Mytilene, Greece shortly after. For online guestbook, please visit www.driscollcares.com
