HAVERHILL - Maria E. Carbone, 61, passed away peacefully at home with her beloved daughter by her side on August 2, 2019.

Born in Lawrence, she was the daughter of Patricia Haley and the late Vincent Carbone. Raised and educated in Lawrence, she made many friendships along the way. But what gave her the most happiness and joy was spending time with her daughter and her grandchildren.

She was an excellent cook. Maria specialized in Italian and gave dinner parties for her friends and family. She loved to travel and spend time at the beach. Maria was creative and artistic which inspired a great sense of style and a flair for decorating.

Maria will always be remembered for her warm smile and sense of humor. She was an independent woman with a feisty attitude and loyal heart to those she loved. A devoted mother and grandmother, she will be so very missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Ashleigh Moriarty, her fiancé, Binh Le and her grandchildren, Carter Binh Le and Jade Rose Le, Bradford; siblings Vincent Carbone, of Nevada, Nerissa Tardif, of Florida, Paul Field of Florida, and several nieces and nephews. Maria is predeceased by her sister Kim Carbone, of Florida.

Services will be held at Community Christian Fellowship, 358 Washington Street, Haverhill, MA on Thursday, August 8, 2019.
