Boulanger

DANVERS - Madeleine Boulanger, formerly of Lowell, passed away September 12, 2014 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home in Danvers, due to complications from Alzheimer's disease. She has resided in Danvers for the past 19 years . Born on May 21, 1930, Mad was one of 10 children born to William and Therese Berard. After graduating from Lowell High School, Mad went on to work as a telephone operator until she retired in 1995.
Mad married Paul (Zeke) Boulanger and had four children together. She moved to San Antonio, TX in 1965 when her husband was transferred there by the United States Air Force. There she resided for the next 30 years until she retired and moved back to Massachusetts.
Living life to its fullest, Mad enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her loving smile and laughter. She will be sorely missed.
Mad is survived by her loving children, Denis Boulanger and wife Diana of Houston, TX, Joanne Melanson and husband Glenn of Danvers, Michael Boulanger of San Antonio, TX, and Karen Blanchette and husband Joseph of St. Cloud, FL; seven grandchildren, Jared Boulanger, Devon Boulanger, Emma Boulanger, Jenna Melanson, Jessica Boulanger, Shauna Boulanger, Ryker Blanchette; three great-grandchildren, Hayden Boulanger, Jameson Boulanger, Skyy Boulanger; brother Louie Berard and six sisters Jeanette Lacourse, Lucille McCarron, Henriette Chenelle, Florence Reynolds, Pauline Page, and Rollande Nagle; many nieces and nephews; sister of the late George Berard and Helen Denommee.
Services will be privately held.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Danvers Senior Center, 25 Stone Street, Danvers, MA 01923.
