Haverhill: Lucille E. Ordway, 89, formerly of New Jersey, died March 25, 2010 at Wingate at Haverhill.

She was born in Sandown, NH on March 7, 1921. Miss Ordway was educated in Haverhill and graduated from Haverhill High School, Class of 1940. She had worked forty-three years as a waitress at the Mt. Washington Hotel, and hotels in New Jersey and Florida. In 1992 she moved from Asbury Park in NJ to Haverhill to be with her family.

She is survived by cousins, Martha Tenney of Gilsum, NH, Roger C. Oberle of Haverhill, Carolann Hall of Keene, NH, Kay F. Sjostrom of Haverhill; her dearest friends Diane Harper of Amesbury, and the Theodore Gall family of CA. Miss Ordway was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Wilson Ordway, and sister, Evelyn Cummings.

Friends are invited to a graveside memorial service on Tuesday, March 30th, at 1:00 p.m. at Center Cemetery in Sandown, NH. Arrangements under the direction of Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill.
