Haverhill: Louise M. (Travers) Stevens, 78, passed away on October 26, 2012 at Merrimack Valley Hospital. Mrs. Stevens was the wife of the late Edward B. Stevens.

Born in North Andover on April 7, 1934, Mrs. Stevens was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Lacourse) Travers.

Mrs. Stevens had worked as an assembler at Port-Poly, Inc. of Salem, NH for twenty years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed the company of friends and enjoyed playing bingo at Sacred Hearts Church in Bradford.

She is survived by her son, Daniel Stevens and wife Joanne of Allenstown, NH; daughter, Sharon M. Uhl of Goose Creek, SC; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. One of thirteen children, Mrs. Stevens leaves her sisters, Lucille Frazier of Haverhill, Jeanette Travers of Orange, CA, Catherine Couture of Lawrence, Dorothy Amore of Florida, and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements by Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main St., Haverhill will include a memorial service to be announced at a later date. At the family's request there will be no calling hours.
