Obituary

HAVERHILL: Lottie A. (McIntyre) Seavey, 88, passed away peacefully at Penacook Place on June 8, 2022. She was the wife of the late Sheldon A. Seavey, Jr. to whom she was married for sixty-four years.

Born in Ipswich, MA on August 31, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Alva D. and Grace P. (Heald) McIntyre.

Lottie was educated in Haverhill, and had been employed at the former Hale Hospital as an EKG Technician for 27 years before retiring in 1987. She had been a faithful and supportive member of First Baptist Church for 78 years serving as a Deaconess, and as a member of various church committees. Lottie enjoyed knitting, sewing and crocheting, and her family enjoyed her many homemade pies. Lottie and Sheldon had lived in Groveland for 42 years before moving to Haverhill.

Lottie is survived by her family, Sheldon A. "Skip" Seavey, III and his wife Jennifer of So. Groveland, Keith A. Seavey of Methuen; nine grandchildren; sister, Virginia Morin of Rowley. Lottie was the sister of the late Alvah D. McIntyre, Alice Green, Edward G. McIntyre, Rita Smith and Gertrude "Trudy" Laslie.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, June 17 th at 11:00am, at First Baptist Church, 217 Main Street. Haverhill. Inurnment at Main Street Cemetery in Rowley, MA will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill.
