LITTLETON, NH: Lois L. (Lougee) Lacroix, 86, formerly of Sandown, NH, passed away on January 11, 2014 at The Riverglen House with her cat, Bradlee, and her loving family beside her. Born in Haverhill on November 23, 1927, Mrs. Lacroix was the daughter of the late Levi T. and Stella M. (Cadman) Lougee.

Mrs. Lacroix was educated in Haverhill and worked as an operator for New England Telephone & Telegraph before leaving to raise her family. During the war she served as an aircraft observer at the Bartlett School in Haverhill. She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary in Haverhill.

Mrs. Lacroix is survived by her family, Paul G. Lacroix and wife Cheryl of Fernandina Beach, FL, Phillip R. Lacroix and wife Patricia of Bradford, Richard S. Lacroix and wife Pamela of Sandown, NH, Robert T. Lacroix of Fremont, NH, Carl A. Lacroix and wife Lisa of Robbinsville, NJ, Alison L. Caruso and husband Thomas of Bethlehem, NH; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Edna Twombly of Lady Lake, Fl, and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lacroix was pre-deceased by her loving husband of 56 years Roland (Al) Lacroix, sons, Roland Jr. and Joseph Lacroix, daughter, Barbara and four grandsons, Greg, Scott, Caleb & Colten.

Relatives and friends are invited to the memorial service at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148, Main Street, Haverhill.
