NEWBURPORT - Lillian C. Jarosky, 94, of Salem, NH, died peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday November 30, 2021.

She was born in Lawrence, MA on November 23, 1927, one of nine children of late Charles and Lillian (Fish) Hill. In her earlier years she provided daycare to many local children as well as her own grandkids. She enjoyed spending time in Florida and visiting with her brother Billy and her grandkids over the years. She also spent many decades crocheting thousands of pieces of warm clothing and blankets for charities including the military, women's shelters and veterans. While some of her creations stayed local, some were shipped throughout the World to mothers and fathers serving in Japan, Korea, and other faraway outposts providing them a nice reminder of home.

Lillian is survived by her brother William (Billy) Hill, her daughters Elizabeth Grassi, Kathleen Jarosky and son in-law Ronald Grimaldi. She will be missed by her grandchildren Carrie Grassi, Shaun and Jesse Grimaldi, and Christie Sookoo-Grimaldi. She was predeceased by her former husband Walter Jarosky, son in-law Peter E. Grassi, and grandson Peter J. Grassi. A special thanks to the team at Country Center Rehab, their care and support was greatly appreciated.
