HAVERHILL- Letecia M. Alba-Ayeni, 52, of Haverhill, passed away on Wednesday February, 20, 2019 , at her home, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Letecia was born on April 13, 1966 to the late Fletcher and Alfredia Dockery. She was predeceased by her sons father Wilson Alba Sr. She was the oldest of two girls. Letecia attended Farrockaway High School, class of 1983.

Letecia was a loving, smart and caring person. She loved helping others and her smile alone would brighten up your day. She enjoyed reading different genres of books. Letecia loved music and always enjoyed new laughs. She also loved the beach. She was very special to everyone that came in contact with her. In 1986 she graduated from Eastern Tech, where she received her Associates Degree in medical assistance, in Manhattan, New York. From 1990-1998, Letecia was also a Bio-Freedom assisting Dr. Levyn in Far Rockaway, Queens, New York. She then went on to be an account manager / physician assistant at South Island Medical in Hemsted, New York.

Letecia accomplished many things in her life. In 2005 she attended Community Action Inc. in a certified nursing aide program in Haverhill, MA. She also attended the University of Massachusetts extension program in 2010. She also spent a lot of time in volunteer work at Sarah's Place for adult care in Haverhill, at Catholic Charities open hands food pantry in Haverhill and Emmaus House homeless shelter. She also worked at the Med Express in Haverhill in recent years. Letecia went on to work private care for the Jones family and most recently, Grace whom she loved and cared for.

She was loved by many people, especially her children Letayvia Miller of Haverhill, Kyeria Miller of Haverhill and son Wilson Alba of Haverhill; two grandchildren Malyia and Jazlyne; her sister Felicia Dockery of Queens, NY; nieces and nephew Tilaia, Brittany and Tydell; her loving husband Olagoke and his parents Mr. and Mrs. Ayeni; dear friends Darlene, Black Highti, the Liscinher family, Freddy, Whityhidi, Rob, Abigel, Melissa Louis and Oliver Scott and a host of family friends and loved ones, including the father of her daughter, William Miller; mother in-law Rev. Vinia Miller, her daughters aunts Tammy and Melive Miller.
