HAVERHILL - Lester J. Gilbert, 42, of Haverhill, passed away Thursday morning, June 6, 2013 at his residence in Haverhill.

Mr. Gilbert was born in Boston on November 7, 1970, son of the late Preston and Margaret (Mulcahy). Lester was raised in Somerville and attended Somerville schools.

Loving husband of Debra Gilbert. After marriage, they moved to Haverhill and began to raise their family. He worked for years with local moving companies. His activities included fishing and being outdoors, also was an avid New England sports fan. Family was the center of his life.

In addition to his wife, his surviving family members include his cherished children, Joshua and Kylie; siblings, Carolyn Sheppard, Carl Gilbert, Albert Gilbert, Denise Gilbert, John Gilbert and Thresa Labecki; many nieces, nephews and friends; brother of the late Frank Gilbert.

Memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, June 11, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street (Rte. 125), Bradford from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
