METHUEN: L. Renee (McClure) Ouellette, 62, formerly of Haverhill, died May 17th at Caritas St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston. Mrs. Ouellette was the wife of Louis G. Ouellette.

Born in Haverhill on June 8, 1947, Mrs. Ouellette was the daughter of the late Laurence A. and Laura L. (Doucette) McClure.

Mrs. Ouellette received her Associate's Degree in Social Service from Northern Essex Community College, and worked as a supervisor for Career Resources until her illness forced her to remain home. While at NECCO she was on the Dean's List, and had been invited to have several articles published in the school newspaper. Renee enjoyed traveling to the beach and Boston with her family. She was particularly proud of her bell collection gathered from around the world.

Besides her husband of thirty-five years, Renee is survived by her daughter Louann A. Santos and her husband Gregory of Methuen; grandson, Jake; sisters, Shirley J. Provencher and her husband Steven of Amesbury, Dorothy A. Moskal and her husband Dan of Merrimac; brother, Allan L. McClure and his wife Nancy of Derry, NH, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to the funeral Friday 7:00 p.m. at Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill. Calling hours will precede the memorial service from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Louann Santos, 4 Washington Street, #7, Methuen, MA 01844.
