BRADFORD -- Kieran M. McGlinchey, 49 of Bradford, passed away at his home on Friday, July 18, 2014

Kieran was born and raised in Strabane, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. He was the son of the late Mary and Loughlin McGlinchey. Before emigrating to Boston in 1999, Kieran worked construction in London and later with the local government in Derry, Northern Ireland. In America, Kieran worked in construction for many years before making the move to office work, mainly in the health insurance field.

An avid soccer fan, Kieran enjoyed both playing and supporting his favorite teams. He also loved working in his garden and spending time with his wife Tracie and their dogs, Jack and Bella.

In addition to Tracie McGlinchey, his wife of 13 years, he is survived by brothers Patrick McGlinchey and Enda McGlinchey of Strabane, Northern Ireland, Michael McGlinchey of London, UK and sisters Donna Mahon and Kathleen McDermott both of Strabane, Northern Ireland; mother-in-law Shirley Rowland of Clear Spring, Maryland; brother-in-law Scott Steele of Hagerstown, Maryland; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26 in the First Church of Christ, 10 Church Street, Bradford at 11:00 AM. Celebration of his life will follow at Maria's Family Restaurant in Haverhill.
